Construction

Peri Skydeck Slab and Trio Wall Systems
SkyDeck Aluminum Slab Formwork System
CJ Builders utilizes the latest in Slab forming systems designed and manufactured in Germany. The re-usable SkyDeck System allows for early striking, consists of lightweight components and requires fewer slab props. This means faster, safer and the most cost effective slab construcrtion in the industry.
Trio Panel Wall Formwork
High labor costs on construction sites increasingly require easier and faster formwork systems. Without exception, the number of components to be moved determines the shuttering times and ultimately the cost of construction. Thus a very versatile formwork system was created with a minimum of different components which meets and exceeds the demands of the modern-day job site in a simple way. Fewer individual components for faster forming. TRIO is the versatile panel formwork for all projects, on small building sites as well as for large-scale projects.
Tilt Up Concrete Panel Construction
Tilt-Up is innovation! This highly efficient, practical method of construction makes beautiful buildings possible at costs that rival the most utilitarian industrial building.
In-place material costs are more competitive than precast, masonry and steel structures; fewer skilled laborers are needed to achieve high-quality construction. In addition, the speed of erection and ease of other subcontractors' work further reduce costs.
Costs are easier to control because there are fewer variables with Tilt-Up. Ready mixed concrete, made from readily available native materials, has price stability. Vertical forming and scaffolding are eliminated; less skilled labor is needed; and, the short construction cycle precludes cost run ups.

Our approach ensures projects are completed on time and within budget, and mitigates unnecessary customer risk. Radio Controlled Concrete Finishers
CJ Builders leads the Puerto Rican construction industry by utilizing innovative equipment such as the world's first radio controlled power trowel.
This new style of power trowel allows the user to put on the
concrete earlier than ever before. It is controlled from a safe distance from the fresh concrete slab. This machine saves hours of build time by not having to stand around watching the concrete get hard enough to stand on.
Walk Behind Laser Screed
CJ Builders operates the world's first walk behind Laser Screed® for grade and above grade flatwork.
The CopperHead XD uses Somero's patented laser leveling technology to cut the concrete to a finished grade, screed it flat and vibrate it smooth in one pass. Jobs get done faster because the machine sets grade automatically, allowing the operator to move quickly and efficiently through the work area.

Robotic Total Station
Robotic Site Positioning Systems provide state-of-the-art construction positioning solutions. This technology provides the non-surveyor in site preparation, heavy / highway, mining, landfill and waste disposal the ability to quickly resolve problems on site and the flexibility to complete any task. CJB engineers can track, report, validate and control workflows from receipt of initial designs to project completion.

Our comprehensive procurement systems allow CJ Builders to leverage our purchasing power. CJB was the first construction company in Puerto Rico to use an integrated, Oracle-based software system to track every stage of procurement activity to improve craft labor productivity, project scheduling, risk management and supplier performance.
Our strategic sourcing program runs suppliers through a rigorous, competitive evaluation process that results in a core group of long-term partners. We continuously monitor and manage supplier performance in the areas of price, delivery, quality and service. As a result, CJB can consistently offer customers the best supplies, prices and services.
